The journey

Welcome to Morocco. You land at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, where your private driver meets you in the arrivals hall for the transfer to Fez, about 4 hours away. The drive is easy and comfortable, and your driver can make a stop along the way if anyone needs a break.
You check into your riad and enjoy a relaxing evening after the journey. Dinner is at your accommodation tonight, time at leisure at your accommodation. Get ready for the next day.

A full guided day in Fez el-Bali, the old medina of Fez and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world. You start at the exterior of the Royal Palace, with its brass doors and tiled walls, then walk through the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah).
Next visit the old medina and see the exterior of Al Quaraouiyine University, founded in 859 and widely considered the oldest continually operating university in the world. The visit continues to the Chouara Tanneries, where leather is dyed in open stone vats, a method that has barely changed in centuries. Dinner is at a traditional restaurant.
Afterward, visit to a ceramic and mosaic workshop shows how Fez’s famous blue pottery and zellige tiles are shaped, painted and cut by hand.
The lanes are narrow, busy and uneven, so bring comfortable shoes.

After breakfast you drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, about 2.5 hours away. This is a short drive day, so there is plenty of time to enjoy the city. Your guide takes you to the Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret of a 12th-century mosque, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum beside it, one of the finest examples of modern Moroccan craftsmanship.
You then visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, a whitewashed fortress quarter with wide views over the Atlantic Ocean, and stroll through the Andalusian Gardens, a calm, shaded place to rest. The evening is free to explore the corniche, the seafront promenade, at your own pace. Lunch and dinner are at your leisure.

After breakfast you transfer to the Agafay Desert near Marrakech, about 4 hours away. Agafay is a rocky, lunar-looking landscape of stone and low hills, with the Atlas Mountains on the horizon. It feels like a real desert, but it is only about 45 minutes from Marrakech, which makes it an easy desert experience.
You check into your luxury desert camp and unwind with traditional mint tea. At sunset you take a camel ride across the desert, and the evening ends with a Berber-style dinner under the stars. Bring a warm layer, as desert nights cool quickly.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at camp before the short drive to Marrakech, about 45 minutes away. In the afternoon a private guide takes you through the medina. You visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, an Islamic school founded in the 14th century and rebuilt in the 16th, known for its carved cedar, stucco and zellige tilework around a central courtyard.
The tour continues through the souks around Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the heart of the city, where metalworkers, and artisans still work in small workshops. In the evening the square fills with food stalls, musicians and storytellers.

Your last full day starts at the Secret Garden, a restored garden in the heart of the medina with pavilions, fountains and plants from around the world, a quiet escape from the busy lanes. The rest of the day is free to shop in the souks, where you can can have different products you are interested at.
In the afternoon you can add an optional traditional hammam and spa session, a centuries-old bathing ritual of steam, black soap and full-body exfoliation. In the evening, a farewell dinner closes your journey.
After breakfast, a private transfer takes you to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure flight.
Itinerary can be adjusted to your dates, pace and interests.
