Arrival Airport: Mohammed V International Airport (CMN), Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport, you'll be greeted by your English-speaking driver and transferred into the city.

Visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the world's largest mosques and one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslims. Join a guided interior tour to marvel at the stunning prayer hall.

Depart for Rabat (approximately 1.5 hours), Morocco's capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, visit Hassan Tower and the Mohammed V Mausoleum. Explore the Kasbah of the Oudayas with whitewashed houses overlooking the Atlantic, and the Andalusian Gardens. Visit Chellah, containing Roman ruins and medieval necropolis.

After breakfast, depart Rabat and head north into the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen (approximately 4 hours).

Arrive in Chefchaouen around midday. This enchanting mountain town is famous for its distinctive blue-washed buildings creating one of Morocco's most photogenic settings.

After lunch, explore Chefchaouen's magical medina. Wander narrow lanes painted in every shade of blue. Visit Uta el-Hammam Square with its restored kasbah. Shop for local handicrafts including woven blankets and leather goods. Climb to viewpoints for panoramic photos with the Rif Mountains backdrop.

Enjoy dinner at a rooftop restaurant with mountain views.

After breakfast, depart for Fes with important historical stops. Drive south through the Rif Mountains toward Volubilis (approximately 2.5 hours).

Arrive at Volubilis, Morocco's largest Roman archaeological site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through remarkably intact ruins. See the Capitol, Basilica, Triumphal Arch, and stunning floor mosaics depicting mythological scenes.

Continue to Meknes (30 minutes), another Imperial City and UNESCO site. After lunch, visit Bab Mansour, one of North Africa's most impressive gates. Visit the Royal Stables built to house 12,000 horses. See the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.

Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon.

Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, Morocco's cultural and spiritual heart. Founded in 789 CE, Fes served as Morocco's capital for over 400 years.

Meet your expert local guide for a comprehensive walking tour of Fes el-Bali (Old Fes), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This medieval medina is the world's largest car-free urban zone with over 9,000 narrow lanes.

Begin at Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate). Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, a 14th-century Islamic school. See the Al-Qarawiyyin University, founded in 859 CE—the oldest continuously operating educational institution in the world. Explore vibrant souks and visit the famous Chouara Tannery where workers dye leather using thousand-year-old techniques.
