The tour typically starts in Fez, The vibrant city that is full of markets, historic sites, and exotic places. From There, you’ll travel to the Sahara Desert, where you can experience a camel trek and watch the sun set over the sand dunes. The tour also includes a visit to a Berber village, where you can learn about the local culture and see traditional dwellings.
Day 1: Fez to Erfoud |
Your Journey to the morocco desert tours will start from Fez and head through the beautiful green mountains of middles atlas. You will pass by Azrou, you will get to see some stunning views such as Berber Villages, Tall green cedar forest, and Monkeys along the road, (they like when people give them some food). You can stop there to relax, have some fresh mountain air and explore the forest. Day 2: Erfoud To Merzougga
In the morning, you will have a tour of Erfoud to explore the town and see the Berber Bazaar and markets. Also make sure you don’t miss tasting Medfouna, which is a local delicious specialty. In the afternoon your 4×4 jeep driver will drive you to Merzouga the beautiful Sahara that has stunning sand dunes. In Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to choose a camel riding in morocco when you get in the desert during the sunset to enjoy the view and also take some beautiful photos. Day 3: Merzouga to Fez
Wake up in the early morning to see the sunrise over the dunes and take some photos, then go back to the camp for breakfast. Then getting ready to go back to Fez on different roads passing by different cities. We will stop by Rissani to visit its old market center, visit its authentic souk, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder of the Moroccan ruling Alaouite Dynasty. Afterward, continue to Midlet a city that is famous for apple production. We can have a lunch break there then continue to Ifran “Morocco’s Switzerland” that has beautiful views that must be seen. It has also Al-Akhawayn University is known worldwide. Then, head toward your accommodation in Fez passing by Immouzer Kander.
